Sick PC Game & Book sets-out to Kill every Atheist & Non-Christian left on the Planet!

Whatever your theological perspective, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy the action packed thriller series Left Behind". [N.Z Christian News]

“It’s so fun, it’s so hip” [Tammy Trent, Author]

“This gives them [teens] something worthy” [Tim LeHaye, Co-Author]

Like me you are probably offended at the very concept that a video game, based on a book by the same name, could be conceived and then distributed, that actually encourages & rewards religious hatred.

So who is behind this vile PC game & publication, which instills bigotry & deliberately targets local teens?

At a guess most Kiwis would say an underground cell of Al Qaeda?

Well, they would be way off the mark.

The hate mongering book and game is marketed in New Zealand by those ‘family friendly’ Christian Stores.

Now imagine what would happen from the likes of Family First, The Kiwi Party and other fundamentalist interests, if a similar game or publication arrived in New Zealand where the aim and synopsis was to exterminate Christians?

The moral outrage would be heard the length and breadth of New Zealand, and the well practiced Christian pressure groups would call for its immediate banning.

"Hey come look Dad, I killed me one of those no good heathen Jews"

It will be these very same indignatious Christians, that will be filling their own children’s Christmas stockings with this ‘wholesome’ game & book, in which it’s heroic character, leads a post-rapture cell of ‘Christ’s Warriors’ who battle the ungodly masses.

If you look closely to the above picture from 'Left Behind Eternal Forces' you'll spot 'the army of the damned' are basically unarmed civilians.

It’s fine for these god-fearing parents to fill these young minds with images of this Christian ‘Mad Max’ waste-land, where a lack of faith in Jesus, is enough to justify extermination.

These paragons of Christian ‘values’ have no problem gifting their kids a video game, where after liquidating Jews, Atheists, Hindus, Muslims you get bonus points for saying “Praise the Lord”.

It’s easy to see why we live in a world so full of intolerance, why Christians are so often labeled hypocrites.

Actually, no. The "army of the damned" in that picture is the armed group that is killing the unarmed group. The unarmed group are the Christians, specifically three woman singers (one falling at left, one still standing to her right, and one fallen - dead - at the bottom) and a doctor (the man with the long white coat). There is no "convert or kill" promoted in the game at all. In fact, trying to win by killing is strongly denounced in the game and killing often makes you lose (each level has certain goals and avoiding violence is often one of the goals).

Hi there, personally I can’t find any justification for injuring or killing any individual based-on their ‘beliefs’. That includes unbelievers killing Christians as you state is the case & conveniently forgot about including the little matter the game depicts Christians as ‘the good guys’ and everyone else as ‘fair game’. Clearly the humanist philosophy I live my life by, is at odds with your own. Cheers. Paul.

No, there is no justification in this day and age for injuring or killing anyone for their beliefs or lack thereof. It really helps to have a true understanding of the whole Left Behind storyline.

As far as "the good guys" go, what else would you call the heroes of the game who are charged with seeking peaceful solutions even when faced with violent attacks by those who want to kill them for no other reason than that they exist? Almost every game has good guys and bad guys, so I don't see what the problem is here.

And "fair game?" I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean. In the usual sense, that phrase is viewed in terms of violence. Is that the idea you were trying to present directly or subtly?

Finally, your humanist philosophy is only at odds with Christian philosophy if you create reasons for it to be at odds.

Gidday there Jinx,

Let me explain ‘the raw bones’ of my humanistic beliefs this way….

Good people can be: black, white, theists, atheists etc.

Bad people can be: black, white, theists, atheists etc.

This game, and seemingly your own philosophy works-on…..

Good people: Christians

Bad people: Non-Christians

If you wish to automatically categorise people according to their beliefs rather than who they are – frankly I find this a sad, narrow attitude and it’s easy to see why people fly planes into buildings.

Charitably I can only think you had/have parents who believed this sort of crap & brain-washed you - the same as the terrorists on 9/11were influenced by religious propaganda over rationality.

Sorry I don’t share your ‘Christian virtues’ there, mate.

Kill a Muslim for me (double points).

See ya.

Paul

Your absurd comments prove you know nothing about the game other than what you've been told to believe.

"This game, and seemingly your own philosophy works-on….. Good people: Christians Bad people: Non-Christians"

Nope. The game contains neutral characters, too, and the bad people follow the Antichrist.

"If you wish to automatically categorise people according to their beliefs rather than who they are – frankly I find this a sad, narrow attitude and it’s easy to see why people fly planes into buildings."

Seems to me that you are categorizing people according to their beliefs well enough for the two of us. To wit:

"Charitably I can only think you had/have parents who believed this sort of crap & brain-washed you - the same as the terrorists on 9/11were influenced by religious propaganda over rationality."

If that's not categorizing me according to my beliefs (rather, what you have imagined my beliefs are), I don't know what is.

"Kill a Muslim for me (double points)."

No Muslims or points in the game.

Obviously, you are arrogant, ignorant and hypocritical.

Jinx, am I right in indicating you follow the faith of your parents & the doctrine of your church?

What about trying to think for yourself for a change there Jinx, me old mate?

Take time away from your sad little exercise in ‘ethnic cleansing’ in the form of a game, and get some independency going-on in your life.

Frankly this regurgitation of the same crap you’ve been told is ‘the truth & the way’ is rather sad & shallow.

Jinx, be a man & make your own decisions in life, instead of others telling you what is right & wrong.

And don’t make the same mistake by indoctrinating your kids, the way your parents did with you.

Get drunk, let your hair down, miss church this Sunday because you are too hung-over.

Read something that challenges you.

Get out of the church scene and start mountain-biking.

Try it.

You may like it?

Gotta go.

Paul.
